Vegan Nutrition Workshop

It can be difficult to navigate all the conflicting information and advice out there about following a plant based diet. It's often the case that when you switch to a vegan diet, you feel healthier and that's usually because your new diet is lighter and rich in vegetables which helps the body to detoxify and gives the digestive system the nutrients it needs to rest and repair itself. 

However, if not undertaken carefully, following a plant based diet long term can lead to problems. There are some essential nutrients the body needs that are more difficult to obtain from a plant based diet, so it's important to consider these carefully and plan your diet to optimise your health and wellbeing. 

In this workshop we will examine the nutrients that need careful consideration on a plant based diet and discuss practical ways to be healthy as a vegan. 

This is a friendly and informal workshop with plenty of opportunity for discussion and questions. There will be refreshments available and you'll go home with a wealth of material including nutrient charts and recipes.
